Freddie O Freddie!

So, we’ve all come to terms with the fact that I’m just not a blogger, right? haha

I work very hard to give my clients a fun & memorable experience when we’re working together…& beyond that to provide them with beautiful images to forever capture some of life’s most precious & often fleeting seasons for them to look back on with love & joy in their hearts. Then, I move on to the next bit of delightful photos for someone else & generally don’t share much with everyone else (all y’all), it’s just something I’ve never really gotten into a good habit of doing. Part of me is sad that there are SO MANY gorgeous, funny, sweet images that y’all haven’t seen, but the other part of me is okay with that, since the people that the photos really matter to are getting to enjoy them as often as they like - that’s the most important thing to me.

ALL of that being said (& hopefully making a little bit of sense), I’m going to attempt to do a few posts (without much commentary) to get a few fresh images on here that I can pin to some of my boards to help clients gain some inspiration for their sessions & to showcase a little more of how I approach various sessions as well.

For now, I’ll just kick things off with a fun overview from all of the sessions I’ve done with Freddie (my baby) since his arrival over 15 months ago (how is that even possible?). I hope y’all enjoy!

Devon // St. Louis Senior Portrait Photography

Here's another creative beauty that wanted to do things a little bit different for her Senior Session & I'm so excited to share them with you!

She had a dear friend of mine (who also happens to be her cousin in law) come along to style the whole thing...which was awesome.  Side note:  In case you've never heard me talk about Kristi Pinkham - you've got to go check out her website!  We have worked together several times & it's always such a blast!  She has the most creative eye ever & always brings so much spunk & helpful direction to everything she works on.

So, back to Devon's session.  She had the fun idea to start at Vintage Vinyl & I'm so glad they allowed us to come in & shoot for a little bit - we were able to get so many laid back & unique shots there of her in an environment she really loves.  I love the challenge of trying something new when it comes together like this!  After playing around there for a little while we headed to Forest park to finish up with a little bit of nature & gorgeous light on a perfect fall evening.

Henry's 6 Month Photos // St. Louis Child & Family Photography

Hey y'all!  Happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone is doing good & was able to catch a glimpse of that amazing eclipse yesterday (in person or on tv) - It was pretty spectacular!!  I'm already looking forward to it swinging around again in 7 years - I think we'll need to take a little camping trip somewhere along the path.  :)

The time has come to share more from this adorable 6 month session I shot a few weeks ago.  Sweet little Henry is one of the most smiley babes ever!  I guarantee his bright eyes & this perfect family farm setting will bring a big ol smile to your face too!  I don't really have much else to say - except that one of my favorite images ever is at the very end of this post, so just keep scrolling.

I have  been wanting to share all of this sweetness with you for quite some time now!

I have had the amazing opportunity to capture so many beautiful families as they grow (some even before mom & dad say "I DO") - it truly is such an honor & such a joy!  So, I wanted to put a little post together from one of my First Year Packages to give everyone an idea of how important & awesome it is to document all of the beautiful growth that takes place in such a short amount of time!  (I'll try to post a couple more families soon too!)

I believe it really is so important to have precious images like these to cherish many many years from now - right?!  & not just for you, but for your kiddo's too!  Don't we all love looking back at photos of us & our parents from years ago?  It's always good to have something to look back on & remember the joy &  beauty in these fleeting moments!

Chuck + Colleen // Kemoll's Top of the Met, St. Louis Wedding Photography

I have had this GORGEOUS wedding in the que to blog for quite some time now, but I've been so busy keeping up with all of my current amazing clients that I haven't been able to sit down & put words to these lovely images.  Now is the time!  Also, I still can't believe that Christmas is next weekend (anyone else want to do their fall over in slow motion with me?), so blogging a fall wedding still makes sense to me.  haha

Colleen & Chuck are two of the sweetest people ever!  They are both full of life & love & working with them was such a joy!  The weather for their fall wedding was absolutely perfect - the kind of day that if I wasn't shooting a wedding I would say, "this is a perfect day for a wedding!" haha.  Every detail was gorgeous & special.  They were surrounded (quite literally - their wedding party was HUGE) by so many people that love & support them.  & I'm just so excited to finally share their day with you!  Enjoy!

2016 Fall Mini Portrait Sessions // St. Louis, MO

Hey everyone!

I'm so excited to finally announce my Fall Mini Portrait Sessions!  YAY!!  Sorry it has taken me so long - I kept going back & forth on where I wanted them to be this year & while that was rattling around in my head I was also staying very busy keeping up with my current work load!  I've already had a hand full of people inquire, so some of my spots have been filled, but I've got plenty left to go around!

Here are some of the basic details...

Morning sessions every 30 minutes from 8 AM - 11 AM
Evening sessions every 30 minutes from 2:30 PM - 5 PM

All sessions Saturday October 29th - Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park
(except for the 11 am spot - that will be at Oak Knoll Park)
Morning sessions on Sunday, October 30th will be at Castlewood State Park
Evening sessions on Sunday, October 30th will be at Creve Coeur Lake Park

$130 - cash or check (made out to Inspired Photography) will be accepted.  If you would like to pay with Credit/Debit card, that is fine as well, however there will be an additional 2.5% convenience fee added.

There will be a $10/person fee added to groups over 5 people.  Dogs Welcome.

20 minute session (I'll have some props & blankets, but feel free to bring anything of your own as well - stuffed animals/toys, a book for your children to read, a special family quilt, etc.)

Edited Digital Files in your own online gallery from which you can view, download, & share
You will also receive a Print Release & no minimum print order is required!
